Remember the iPhone SE, the low-cost budget-friendly First Apple phone that cost $399. It was Apple first step towards the lower budget market. The phone was launched in 2016 and was a huge hit.
Apple is making a comeback in the lower budget market in 2020, According to sources they will start producing the low budget variant in February, and will tease the first look in March.
The phone will use an LCD Display, which will cut the cost by a lot of margins. The phone will be similar to the current models produced by Apple. The motive of Apple by this move is to win the customers back and overpower companies like Huawei in the lower budget section.
They have been planning for the model since September, it might feature a 4.7-inch display with LCD screen, other than that the full specs are not revealed you may have to wait till march. It is not clear that the phone will support 5G or not. Maybe they will introduce 5G with the 12 series.
