According to reports, Netflix has put a hold on all future projects and acquisitions from Russia amid its invasion of Ukraine.

Netflix had four Russian originals in the pipeline, which has been put on hold, according to Variety. One of the series was a crime thriller directed by Dasha Zhuk. The series has been postponed now.

Walt Disney also announced it will be pausing all theatrical releases in Russia. Pixar’s “Turning Red” was set to premiere on Disney plus on March 10 has also been postponed.

The latest Sensational movie “The Batman” is also not released in the country. Russia has also been barred from movie festivals and award shows. Cannes Fim Festival has also declared that they will not welcome any Russian Delegations or attendees.

However, Switzerland’s Locarno Fim Festival has allowed the screening of Russian films.
