Amazon became Victim of Money Heist in Uttar Pradesh

Two men from Noida which is in Uttar Pradesh, India duped amazon for lakhs of Rupees. Both of them were arrested on 26 July evening. Police revealed that they were from Hisar, Haryana and had about 26 lacs in their bank account which has been temporarily frozen.

They have been identified as Alok Singh (27), a B.Sc Graduate and Sachin Jain (30) 10+2 pass. They created 99 accounts on Amazon using fake identification and linked bank accounts.

The Fraud

They used order electronic goods on amazon via COD or prepaid and sell the same in Delhi’s Gaffar Market. They managed to do this with the help of the delivery people. Once the order had been placed, they used to mark the product return for product being defective.

Once the Return process starts, the delivery personal marks the order picked up and physically it was not. Thus, getting the payment return and selling of the products in the Delhi’s wholesale market.

They generated lakhs of rupees by this means. The exact amount might soon be shared after the police investigation. All this was tracked by cyber crime and further investigation will be taking place. FIR has been filed in Noida Sector 36.and two were already arrested.
