50% of the German population is now vaccinated

More than 50% of the German population is now vaccinated. The German health minister posted on Twitter, that more than 41.8 million Germans are fully protected against covid-19. The country sets a target to get 80% of people vaccinated in the next few months. They are preparing themselves for the fourth wave of the deadly virus.

A few days back, Chancellor Angela Merkel requested people to get vaccinated. She said vaccination is a small step to words normality.

Helge Braun Merkel’s chief of staff said Vaccinated people definitely have more freedom than unvaccinated people if cases increase in the near future.
